Williams Street Rods

Williams Street Rods is a custom manufacturer located in Humboldt, Illinois. Terry Williams, owner of Williams Street Rods, has been attending the Daytona Turkey Run as a vendor since 1998 where they sold street rod parts. They’ve also been very successful in selling a lot of complete cars at the show.

Over the years, Williams Street Rod has expanded to a large manufacturing facility to include parts for cars, chassis, billet aluminum on cnc’s suspension parts and more.

Terry brings 3-5 team members to the Daytona Turkey Run to work and also enjoys bringing his family.  Terry says he’s made a lot of fond memories, which include the “big sale” as well as a gold mine find in the swap meet.

Terry enjoys driving his own 1934 Ford with a blown bb Chevy as well as his Rat Rod.

Tim Black's 1957 Chevy 150

We became acquainted with the owner of this beautiful 1957 Chevy 150, Tim Black, when we selected his car out of hundreds of photos from our Spring show to feature on our Daytona Beach Car Show Facebook page.  Tim is a huge fan of the Daytona Turkey Run and has been attending for 24 years!

Here are the details on this beauty ~ 1957 Chevy 150, 2 door sedan with a 5.3 ls base motor and a 4L60E trans ford 9 in with a 350 posie. The interior is blue and black tweed. The car also has custom wheels, Dakota digital gauges, a/c power windows and rack n pinion steering.

Tim has been working on the car for 14 years. He would like to give a special thanks to his good friend John Nelson, who helped with sheet metal, body work and paint. Without his help he says he would probably still be working on it.

Tim attends both the spring and fall shows and often brings one of his nine nephews. He also has fond memories of attending the show with his dad and grandfather.  His 12 year old son dreams of having a 73 Camaro so the tradition just might continue!

See you in November!
